Benjamin Stephenson

Public Engagement Trainee

Benjamin is an Urban and Regional Planning graduate from Binghamton University, where he also minored in Digital & Data Studies. He is passionate about urban, environmental, and transportation planning, and brings skills in Geographic Information Systems (ArcGIS Pro and QGIS), Python, and R Studio. He takes a teamwork-based approach to projects, believing they are most efficient and impactful when everyone’s voice is heard. In his free time, he enjoys going on walks with his family, watching basketball, and listening to music. He was drawn to ASC’s commitment to amplifying public voices through creative communication strategies, and sees this internship as a valuable opportunity to learn how to better engage with the communities most affected by transportation policies and planning efforts.
