Julia Ross

Julia recently graduated from Barnard College with a B.A. in Urban Studies and Sociology and a minor in Architecture. She is passionate about shaping the built environment through community-focused policymaking and advancing equitable approaches to urban planning and renewable energy. Julia’s contributions to the Atlas of Public Power, an independent project highlighting the potential for a public power energy system, deepened her interest in environmental justice. She assisted with reports on expanding green jobs programs and protecting natural areas at Center for an Urban Future, an urban policy think tank, and supported communications at the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development. In her free time, Julia enjoys rock climbing, playing tennis, watching movies, and visiting coffee shops.

I’m thrilled to join ASC because of the passion that drives the firm. I’m drawn to ASC’s commitment to listening and engaging with community voices and working with clients to advance equitable climate initiatives. The work is truly one-of-a kind and I can’t wait to contribute!"
