Ryan Brown

Ryan is a communications professional with experience writing about sustainability and clean energy. He brings a background in public policy through his work for city government and various Washington D.C. think tanks, including the Council on Foreign Relations.

Ryan's notable experiences include:

• Assisted a professor writing a book on women affected by war and political violence. Ryan provided research and marketing support to help get the book closer to being published while studying abroad in Strasbourg, France.

• Conducted research on sustainability and clean energy investment in Africa during his internship with the Council on Foreign Relations. Wrote briefs analyzing the importance of these investments for African countries.

• Secured primetime TV coverage of city government-funded efforts to improve digital literacy during his time as a communications intern at the NYC Mayor’s Office. Staffed events and press conferences with senior city government officials and wrote op-eds and statements that were published by local New York City news outlets.

Ryan graduated cum laude from Syracuse University with degrees in Journalism and International Relations. Outside of work, he enjoys going to the movies, fishing, or spending time with friends.
