Public Engagement Trainee

Sofie graduated from Fordham University in December 2025 with a B.A. in Sociology and a minor in Communication and Media Studies. She is continuing at Fordham to pursue an M.A. in Strategic Communications. As a communications intern for the Dyckman Farmhouse Museum, she supported the museum’s community engagement efforts, bridging the gap between the historical landmark and the modern community. Her studies and internships have fueled her interest in using storytelling to promote dialogue, civic engagement, and social justice. Outside of work, she enjoys playing Ultimate Frisbee, spending time outside in the sun, and singing karaoke.
