Esmé recently graduated from Columbia University with a B.A. in Sustainable Development. During coursework and internships she developed a passion for environmental education and climate communications, hoping to help bridge knowledge gaps within the climate space. As an Education Intern at the American Museum of Natural History, Esmé sought to foster an appreciation for the natural world in museum visitors by facilitating meaningful conversations about the exhibits. Following this, Esmé‘s work at TerraCycle aimed to expand participation in their free cigarette recycling program. Esmé is also passionate about sustainable and circular fashion, conducting her Columbia senior thesis project on secondhand shopping patterns among Gen Z consumers. In her free time, Esmé enjoys reading, cooking, and music—both playing and listening!

I’m thrilled to join ASC and be involved with projects that sit at the intersection of climate solutions, public engagement, and education. The team exudes such passion and care for their work, and I’m very grateful to be surrounded by people I will learn so much from!"
