Kelly Guo
Kelly is a recent graduate from Boston University with a BFA in graphic design and minors in business, innovation, and entrepreneurship. She believes the purpose of a designer is to reimagine how the mundane works. Her personal work explores the interplay between experiences and joy. Through a practice of designing interactive components and event curation, her work encourages audience participation and fosters a sense of resonance. Outside of ASC, she served as a brand designer for Guts, a nonprofit on a mission to make mental health practical, relatable, and accessible. Additionally, she works on the marketing team for Mob, a startup building a connections-based digital platform to help busy working adults make new friends and try new things. Outside of work, she enjoys winter sports, bowling, and exploring cultural and food hubs of the city, such as trying new restaurants, going to pop-ups, and attending workshops.
I am excited about joining ASC because of the opportunity to create real-world impact as a designer at both a local and state-wide scale. Additionally, working at ASC challenges her to design with structure while pushing existing boundaries."
